HAHA! What in the world kind of quiz is this?!? (I do kinda like red hair on guys though... hehe, and can't wait for the third movie to come out!!) I'm babysitting the special ed. class again.... It's so close to the end of the school year - and all the regular teacher wants to do is watch movies - so that's what we're doing. (Watching "Twister" today.) More packing tonight - feels like I'm NEVER going to be done! My moving countdown: T minus 5 days and counting......

Oh my gosh! How did I accumulate so much stuff?!? I seriously think that it's been 22 years since I threw anything away. It's funny how stuff that used to be so sentimental is finding its way into the garbage when it comes time to pack and move! Good gracious.... I'm surrounded by cardboard boxes.... Gotta keep truckin', er... packin'!

Shopping - a girl's dream right? Unless you're spending your own money!! However, I now have a lot of the stuff I've been needing for the new apartment. Today I bought bookshelves and an entertainment center - I also got paint for the bedroom and bathroom. So - it's shaping up. I helped to host a bridal shower today for Lisa P. Good times.... :o) Maybe getting married isn't such a bum deal. *shrugs* I'm out.

frustrations....many frustrations. Only 7 days left in my moving countdown - and the pressure is getting to me. There are SO many things to get taken care of and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. Oh well - I'll deal. I got new furniture today - a new chest of drawers and a really awesome huge mirror - good times. Spent a great weekend at Tim's place... It's always hard to leave. I'm at school now - the class is working on some worksheets - counting money and such. Only 9 more days of school left and only 12 more days 'till I move! Dad brought home boxes yesterday, so I'll prob'ly start packing tonight. Good times...

Just got home from school, chillin' out and having a snack. What can I say besides, THANK GOODNESS IT'S FRIDAY!!!!! I enjoy my work. I love the kids and the other teachers in my class, but I live for the weekends! :o) I love being able to do whatever I want to do whenever I want to do it!! Can I get an AMEN?!? I'm about to start some laundry so that I can pack. I'm spending the weekend with Tim. He's playing in the orchestra pit of a local production of "Fame." I'm really excited to see the show. (Of course, I prob'ly wouldn't be half as excited if he wasn't in it!) Oh!! I heard on the radio this morning that the government of Australia is jump-starting a campaign to increase the nation's birth rate! Apparently, they're just not having enough kids.... wow... It's their patriotic duty to reproduce! G'day ---- now MATE! Well, I'd better run and get started. I don't want gas prices to have jumped up another couple of dollars before I leave - and if I take too long, they might do just that! Geez! Prop up your feet and have a nice weekend!

I spent the day yesterday shadowing the teacher who's place I'm taking. They keep him pretty busy, and they already have a list of things for me to "charter" next year including a football pep band and a band banquet. So - adventure lies ahead! Only 15 more days until I move into my apartment! WHOO HOO! (The count-down has begun if you didn't notice. *hehe*) I mean, I was already working through a major adjustment living with the parents again, but now my little brother has moved back in from college for the summer. Whew - 4's a crowd! I kinda miss elementary/middle school. Britt and I were pretty close then, but we hardly talk now. We're such different people, and we live such different lives. I mean, he's ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS off doing something with a huge group of friends. I tend to be a little more reserved, hanging out with just a tight group of buds on occasion. He's in training to be a youth minister...I'm a band director. It's funny how siblings can be totally different. Also,I never realized how Obsessive Compulsive I've become... but sharing a bathroom with a little brother has cleared that up. I mean, it drives me nuts that he never puts the shampoo back on the rack in the shower, and there's always little beard hairs on the sink after he shaves. *sigh* I guess it's a guy thing.... don't get me wrong, I love the guy - but I don't like sharing a bathroom with him. Well, I'm about to get started on dinner. (We're having mini- English Muffin Pizzas. Good stuff!) Out!

Watching Hitchcock's "The Birds" in class today. Haven't seen that movie in a while.... I think I'm going to a band concert at my old high school this evening - should be really good. Out!

Alrighty... well, obviously my blog has just undergone a MAJOR overhaul along with the rest of the Blogger website... I'm really glad that they updated things! I'm going Wednesday to observe in the classroom where I'll be teaching. It's going to be really good for me to have a chance to talk with the teacher that's there already, and get an idea of what it is that I'll be doing! Blogger just added a comment feature to the Blogs... AWESOME! Leave me comments! :o) Well, Pizza's here and I'm starving! Happy Mother's Day, Mom! Holla!

I think I finally have an apartment!! YAY! I mailed my deposit in yesterday, so my moving countdown has begun! I'm going to start packing soon, and I hope to move towards the end of May. I'm SOOOO excited to finally have my VERY OWN place! :o) Tim's coming up tonight, staying tonight and then we're heading to Stone Mountain when I get home from school tomorrow. That should be a lot of fun! Everyone had better watch "Friends" tonight! Out!
